Part 2 of the AGI is happening tomorrow series

Today’s post shifts focus from thinking about AGI from the perspective of AGI itself to considering it from the perspective of humanity. Specifically: Who gets to interact with AGI—and how? Will access be limited to the rich and powerful? Will regular people have a chance to engage with it? What kind of world emerges if only the elite can use it? What if access is restricted to powerful nations? And even if universal access is possible, is it safe? If not, are there ways to structure meaningful guardrails so that broader access doesn’t become a threat?

I think there is a lot to cover in this section, so this part of conversation may stretch over a couple days.
