Post 51: Quantum Mechanics and AI Consciousness: Part 6. The Measurement Problem and Reality

This is an interesting one because no one knows for sure why objects in quantum superposition collapse. There are theories, both nothing has been proved. I think the only thing I feel absolutely certain about after exploring this subject is that the pop culture version that “the superposition only collapses when observed by a conscious being” is bunk.
